Black iPhone 3G

LONDON – 10th December 2008. Diamond jewellers De Vere’s of London have
unveiled what many iPhone fans have dreamt of, the all black Apple iPhone 3G.
The ‘Midnight’ iPhone 3G features a deep black bezel surrounding the front
screen to match the rear case. The all black Midnight iPhone is exclusive to De
Vere’s and available as a complete iPhone for £799 (USD$1199) or as a bezel
fitted to an existing iPhone for £299 (USD$449).

The stunning black Midnight iPhone was originally created by De Vere’s to
show off to spectacular effect the diamonds set into its luxury De Vere Diamond
iPhones. It was soon realized how good the all black iPhone looked without the
diamonds.

“We realized how sensational the all black iPhone looks without diamonds;
slimmer, sleeker and sexier than the original” said Philip De Vere, founder of
De Vere’s of London.

The all black iPhone is a world exclusive to De Vere’s and not available
anywhere else. The original steel bezel has a hardwearing electroplated gloss
black finish developed by De Vere’s.

“We experimented with various jewellery plating techniques until a
satisfactory one was found that gave the deep rich black finish that we wanted.
It’s taken time, but what an amazing looking handset”, Philip De Vere said.

The custom iPhones created by De Vere’s are described as a cross-over between
fashion and luxury.

“De Vere’s do for the outside of the iPhone what the Apps store does for
the inside, to create an iPhone as individual as the person that owns it”.

The all black Midnight iPhone is available from De Vere’s in a 16GB unlocked
version for £799 (USD$1199) De Vere’s can also fit an all black bezel to an
existing iPhone for £299 (USD$449). The all black iPhones and bezels are only
made to order.
